CNY 2010 Is Around the Corner

Great! How beautiful the decorations are! Enhancing the atmosphere of Chinese New Year 2010. And it is just around the corner. I'm just so anticipating for the coming of this festive season. -- Go Home. Family Gathering.~

Verse of the day

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:12-13)

This is the verse of the day, I find it as a very good reminder to me when I read it this morning. - Well-equipped myself with the words of God.

There Is More To The Secret

Without making so much consideration that will procrastinate me from the purchase, I grabbed this book right away tonight just not more than 2 minutes I think at a bookstore before I went to meet with my HK sister in Christ for dinner.

Have you heard of the best-selling book, The Secret, written by Rhonda Byrne? This would be the reason why I wanted to buy this book-There Is More To The Secret. What has gone wrong with the book, titled, "The Secret"? I'm very keen to know about it. And likewise, before this I've simply come across to a brief review of another best-selling author's book, A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose, it was written by Eckhart Tolle, ...... it is something to do with new age movement, new age.

We Christian, what's our standpoint? How are we going to react? How deep do we know about our belief?...... How strong are we if...... ?

Mishap

It happened on 08th of January 2010, Friday. It was a rainy morning, the rain poured down badly, I ran faster, and it was so slippery, I pressed on my car alarm button, I thought I would get into the car for just less than a few seconds, no matter how clever the thought of man is, it will somehow come across to such a foolish mishap. I was wrong, I fell into the canal that was just right before me, it was just so slippery the floor was, I could be very sure that it was my mistake, because I was just so careless, the time I pressed on the alarm button, my mind had already flown on the middle way of the journey to my office. Half of my body was wet, I really could not realize that my wrist had already injured, as well as several parts of my body. Oh God! How weak was my responsive system, I realized it only when I was on my way back to my house. It was painful. You know what, the injury to my wrist reminded me that how painful Jesus suffered from the crucifixion. It was the sinful man that brought him to the cross. The most cruel punishment in the world. For His undying love to His people, He dare to take for that, in order to pay for their ransom- Bring a New Life to the world.

This is the beginning of the Year 2010.
Welcome 2010!

It's just so obvious that the age of the earth is getting older. We are all continue growing older as well. I believe that there are many people who don't like to hear of the word, old. It's not a good thing in their mind. Because everybody knows, what will happen is, "Life somehow will end one day."

However, as for me, positively I would say , new year is New Hope & New Present for me. Life will come to its end one day. But spiritually, I myself as a Christian, I believe that eternity is the HOPE. Heavenly Home is the final destination. God is Alpha & Omega.

It was awesome the celebration & watch-night service at church last night I would say. Thousands of people attended, it was so hard to find a parking space. I thanked God for the smooth traffic, no traffic jam on my journey. Anyhow, I think there would be some people was wondering why was it so many people willing to spend their time to come for the church celebration, what was the core attraction that dragged them in there. There could be many reason anyway, but I believe that it was indeed the love of God.

Christmas Gift

Thanks God! I got another Christmas gift from a cell-group member this morning. Thanks~ When I saw the little bookmark filled with the encouraging words, it reminded me those similar things that I usually like to do in the past - writing a few words in a tiny bookmark as an encouragement for others in church. How many years back is not a crucial thing to count. We have been learning so much to be a positive person, today counts, we know, and we should make good efforts for every single day and every tomorrow. We deserved to do that, aren't we?

A few notes have been taken down on today's church service.

1. Make right choices with the right heart.
2. Make choices by discerning God's direction.
3. Trust God's providence.

Christmas Day

Christmas Service, I was late for 5-10 minutes I assumed. It's a combined service, 1st & 2nd. I knew the reason why I was so hard to find myself a seat. The main sanctuary was overcrowded, there were so many people. What would I say but overflowing with thankfulness.

Today's topic was somewhat touched my heart. What's that? It's the matter of doubt, which was the "Questions" related to our belief. (The "why?"" why?" "why?"...)

After the service, a gift was given out to each family, and I got one as well, it's glad to get this Christmas Gift from Church. Thanks God~ Merry Christmas!

Book Lover

If you can find "life" in a book, then, what can a book mean to you?
Can't even wait for much more longer, but eventually the xxx books sale was already started off yesterday. I really didn't want to miss out the "valuable" or "desirable" published bOoKs, so I just made my very best effort to go there as early as I could, - "Grab" the desired items as much as I could happily. Haha... really can't imagine how crazy I was and how excited the rushing hours went through last night, you know what, I really can't believe that I even entered the hall from the back-door without notice. Well, I'm not a "book worm", however, I love reading.
I somehow managed to grab something as expected.... but not enough.... haha... anyhow... Thanks God~

2012, the end of the world? I watched this movie last night, it's wholly thrilled with horror... a global cataclysm - world end. How can you imagine?..... Movie is just a movie. Anyhow, do u believe that one day the world will come to an end?

Made A Change

Finally I've made up my mind, I changed my blog skin last night. It was a very interesting and enjoyable experience. I have no blogging for a while. Sometimes when thing has been stopped for so long and we get bored. Perhaps, it's time that we may need a change. And we may then find our passion back. Don't you believe this?

A Night of Worship with Bob Fitts (14.08.2009)

Bob Fitts worship concert at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, PJ. So many people came to this concert last night, amazingly it was the work of God, as for me, it was so glad to go with CG leader & members to this worship concert... thanks for the burger-my dinner... haha... Praise the Lord.

Perspective of Life

It has been quite some time I left here, and now I'm back.
Life has been so busy... and is too fatigued to live for, but the strength of God keeps me living, and to move on continuously from one step to another step. When you acknowledge Him, He can make a difference. ......

I am so grateful that my CG members are actively involve in their daily devotional life, it's such a big encouragement and support to me - a great blessing to share via email. That's why we human being are not an island. We live, and we need fellowship with one another, in Christ, we learn to back others up.


"Today men are consumed by desires to buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like. Where do these desires come from?"

You know what, I like the sentences above, I read it last night from a book, it has become a reminder to me as a consumer, how shall I beware of the Madison Avenue Lifestyle to influence me. In other words, ask yourself, we as a Christian, what is the living value of life? purpose of life?

Wonderful God, Beautiful voices, ... powerful prayers..... we stood... we knelt... we confessed... we sang... we clapped...... we worshiped... we shouted...... we all PRAYED!!!...... Your love moved us, Your love united us....... for Your love sake, we wanted to move your mighty hand for this country, to heal the land, to bless the nation...... so much tears were counted by God!.........
Indescribable night! It is a new day.

No Fool, Be a Wise Servant.

We did not have Koinos-Cell Group last night! But Extended Prayer Hour! All koinoses were gathered in church for it. What a wonderful gathering! I really appreciated God so much for attracting a lot of people coming to the prayer meeting. This was a combined prayer meeting for both Chinese(Mandarin & Cantonese) and English services. We sang, we worshipped, we prayed, we listened to His words... the presence of God was so great.

So fervently and enthusiastically the invited guest preached the words of God. ...... God anointed her so much, The Holy Spirit with us......
There were something she shared about the power of the darkness in this ages, and how people-Christian from other countries are suffering from the persecution.... and the problems of the unity of churches. ...

I remembered deeply a word that strikes my heart so strong, "Weapon", what do we have for the battle? Nothing I think. But "PRAYER". This is the most powerful weapon gifted from above for we Christian. We should understand that when we say a prayer to God, the devil is shivering and to flee. How great is our God! Won't you hear God now and your eyes still not open ? Thanks God! The Truth set me free. This is our authority. Hallelujah!
