It's a special Easter Sunday!
A special guest was invited to minister this morning service. She was sharing her testimony with us this morning. Her story really touched my heart, it was so impressive, I couldn't imagine that how a 4th stage terminal cancer patient could overcome all her obstacles over the cancer battle. You thought it was a battle of 1-2 days, a few weeks or several months of time. No, you got it wrong, it took her several years to conquer the battle. It's simple, it's easy. I totally won't agree, but you know what, by the power of God, she was healed. It's God! Praise God! He has worked miraculous things!! And He still works for the miracles. Praise God!

The fact was that the cover of her new edition book looked familiar to me. I saw it many times in a bookstore. But it didn't really catch my attention so much. And this morning, I came to know that how touching, how wonderful, how encouraging the story behind this book was. Unconditionally, I purchased it with her DVD. Thanks God!!

There Is More To The Secret

Without making so much consideration that will procrastinate me from the purchase, I grabbed this book right away tonight just not more than 2 minutes I think at a bookstore before I went to meet with my HK sister in Christ for dinner.

Have you heard of the best-selling book, The Secret, written by Rhonda Byrne? This would be the reason why I wanted to buy this book-There Is More To The Secret. What has gone wrong with the book, titled, "The Secret"? I'm very keen to know about it. And likewise, before this I've simply come across to a brief review of another best-selling author's book, A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose, it was written by Eckhart Tolle, ...... it is something to do with new age movement, new age.

We Christian, what's our standpoint? How are we going to react? How deep do we know about our belief?...... How strong are we if...... ?

I grabbed this book at this afternoon, I am eagerly to learn about the lesson as what the title was mentioned. Money, undeniably, it is not easy to earn. However, we cannot allow it to happen that we become a slave of money. Don't we?

Battlefield of the mind - Winning the Battle in Your Mind

A friend introduced a famous person to me 3-4 weeks ago, she is Joyce Meyer, a great lady in the world, particularly in the Christian community. I had listened to her audio sermon before. It was great, anointed. ..... and so I grabbed one of her book unconditionally this afternoon when I saw it in the Christian bookstore where I visited. And thanked God! I got 10% off the price of this item. ^_^

Living the God Life

Just wish to read a new spiritual book, therefore, I took some time browsing around in a Christian bookstore in the afternoon after my lunch. In fact, I was looking for Anita Corrine Donihue's writings. I like the way she expressed her writing, but since I couldn't find it, I just purchased this one. I can spend my time on plane to read this book. Yuh! I will be going back to my hometown very very soon. ......

I hanged out with a friend to 1U tonight, however, you know what, I ended up my shopping with nothing, but Häagen-Dazs ice cream, it was funny I think. I am not a shopaholic anyway. Perhaps I was too picky and unfamiliar with this place.

Returned home late tonight, I found an invitation letter from a church in my mailbox. To be honest, my first impression was very happy, with a full sense of curiosity I opened up the letter. And then, I understood the reason for this. :) it's so warm...

First Novel

See... this is the classic novel I grabbed this evening. I've been thinking & wondering for so long... I wanted to buy a novel book to read, and finally I got this. Thanks God! Perhaps, there will be more to read on the coming days...... see, this guy really look like want to be a "worm of book". haha...

Humour

Waking up myself in this morning lazily... which is to say that I was not willing to wake up... haha.. I needed some more time to sleep... Yes, today traffic has become normal, I didn't find any difficulty in taking a taxi. Ya, ya... Thanks God~

We've a special guest this morning, Rev. George Ong, who is calling out from Singapore, I don't know him well, just heard a little bit about him last week. They said that he has a good sense of humour, and he has written many books that get very good feedback from the readers. They have said that his books are good for children. ... Okay, when I heard the word, "children", it first came up in my mind was that, okay, "forget about it." becaue I'm no more a child. ... By the way, all this changed, when I heard that he said, adult(s) also read... okay, then, I've got the reason to buy either.

"The Greatest Gift" (John 3:16), this was the topic he preached this morning, and really, he has a good sense of humour, ...

Big Big Thanks to our God's mercy and loving kindness, I think there were around 20 persons walked to the front stage after the calling of Rev. George in response to God's gospel for prayer. To God be the Glory!!

After the service, hastily I reached to the book counter at the lobby, ... wow... there were a lot of his books on display-volume 1 to 12), well..well..well... I've not much time to think... or spend to look around... made haste to grab one, RM28.00. Then, went on my way rushing to work.


Long time I did not go to swim at night... but tonight, 10 round. I just didn't want to spend too much time on my jogging, so I decided to go swimming. Thank God~ it's really good!

A visit to Christian Book Fair

After my work, I was walking against the wind and the fine rain on my way to the Chinese Christian Book Fair 2008. This year isn't like last year, I don't buy very much of books. ...... Anyway... thank God! I took some time to browse around the booths of the participants... and just stopped at several booths...... I was about to buy a book of a famous Korean pastor, the title was talking about "thinking/mind control", however, it was ended up with an empty hand, I wanted to control my spending... so I just forgot about it. Well, well, well... at last still I've got myself one, Prayer-Does it Make Any Difference?, by Philip Yancey. As I saw the label tagged on the front cover, I was confident that I would not choose a lousy book. "UK Christian Book Awards 2008 Winner, as voted by the public", shall be a good choice. God bless!
